I am not sure why Roscodog has Martes on his ACTIVE roster, since he's never played in the major leagues, but he's there. Perhaps this is some confusion with Frankie Montas, who threw 15 innings for the White Sox in 2015 and is now on the active roster of the A's. I would like Rosco to weigh in before I pick.

Quite simply I promoted Martes a year early so I could make all 6 of my prospect picks.

the first round is untimed. Rburgh..... you SHOULD wait. We've waited a while already....falcon picked quickly when his turn came up. He even looked through the Alpha prospects list. but Rosco had called up a few prospects even though they haven't showed up in the MLB yet. He did this so he'd have his full compliment of picks and I understand that but it's a pretty honest miss on falcon's part (especially since Martes hasn't played above AA going into this year)

I don't know why we allow prospects to be activated in the first place, (which is another debate for another day), but after I wait all weekend (when I AM available) to pick, and then to have the guy who activated both of the players I quickly tried to pick suggest that I be passed over, well that's just plain wrong, and is NOT the spirit in which we set this league up in the first place.

Sorry you feel that way, but there is absolutely nothing wrong with promoting players before 2 years. Why should it not be allowed? It is perfectly acceptable to do so. It allows me to make all 6 of my prospect picks. Every other league I am in if someone picks a player that is already rostered it is perfectly acceptable to then move on to the next pick, I apologize if that is not the standard for this league as I would obviously be drafting in this league for the first time.
