joethejet,

Yeah, our OPS against RHP keeps dropping. While it would not solve all of our problems, it would help if Pederson was playing as he did previously.

1. LHP .787; RHP .797; Pederson .891
2. LHP .831; RHP .779; Pederson .927
3. LHP .815; RHP .738; Pederson .571

Yeah, Pederson should be good in your park. I'm sure he'll get better.

Wow, that was embarrassing, giving up 20 runs to the Jockeys who are decent, but not great on Offense. We Started Cueto against Musgrove which *should* have favored us, but Johnny lasted 1/3 of an inning. He picked up four hits off of Cueto's card. I guess he's not very good. But the worst part is getting shutout by Musgrove who is terrible v LHB and facing six of them. Such is SOM.

We hit Teheran hard in the next game so go figure. Weird series for sure.

Looks like it's going to be a long season. Oh well.

I'm just not getting any hitting, which even with the low OB, we should be doing better than we are. Davis and Cruz have been unbelievable, and there are four or five other guys really hitting, but we're sure struggling to put runs together.

lpezzeme, I too use a version of Marc's system, only it's more than a decade older and he was called Luckyman then.

MBertolli, I think you're the class of the league.

Yeah, I would guess that you should be scoring some more also. You're second in slugging and middle of the pack in OB. So, you're probably hitting a fair number of solo shots and, of course, your road numbers are much worse than at home. In a way you have the opposite problem that I do. I get guys on base, but don't score enough of them (case in point 10 LOB in a 3-1 loss tonight) while you aren't timing your HRs for when you have guys on. At least that would be my theory.

Didn't realize that Marc was Luckyman. Huh. If you guys are interested. I usually give out a free version of my ratings in December. Just ping me.

I had a look at your ratings last year (I think?) and they made absolutely no sense to me! LOL I generally use the standard strat ratings, the eyeball test & trial and error. So far this season has gone fairly well, last year was a disaster.

To be clear, I didn't mean they don't make sense, just that I didn't understand what I was looking at.

Yeah, there are a lot of numbers there. If you're interested we could chat off line about it.

Joe, Marc Pelletier was also Marcus Willby (first, I think), but it was as Luckyman that he made his name as a player.

The Rabbits are continuing to let the Pugs pull away and now we're battling to stay at .500. Tonight we're in Miller where I don't have enough LHBs. This was not one of my better jobs of season planning.

I''m glad you started the chat, Joe, I think it helps keep interest in a league, especially when my team starts to struggle. Hard to get many to participate though. In our GBBR leagues (Rob Vozza's loose group of longtime players) we don't have a chat anymore, but people do participate in the inbox regularly.

Also, you expressed surprise at our team name Rabbits. Had nothing to do with baseball, of course, more with a hookah smoking caterpillar. I've been naming my teams in Alphabetical order, so I can find them easily, and often name them after songs. In this case: "White Rabbit" from the Jefferson Airplane. I do feel like Coors is a rabbit hole I can easily disappear in.

Who is he playing as this season?

I was in a couple of leagues with him last year, and he won easily. I haven't noticed him this season though. I don't even see him in the tournament.
