IMPORTANT RULE CLARIFICATION

I had a discussion with one of mgrs of this league offline and I realized there might be some confusion about free agents.

To be clear, you only control your free agents for the season you get them. Let’s use Nellie Fox as an example. Nellie is eligible for the league, as a free agent, in seasons 1 and 2, because his career ended in the mid 60’s, and he never played for a league franchise. MisterG has him locked down for season 1, but he will not have any special rights to him in season 2. Depending on demand for his services, Nellie can be claimed by any team in the 2 round claiming draft, through the subsequent auto draft, in waivers, or after that, as a free agent.
