Personally, I think it's best we have a standard eligibility rule, in that we always include, or always exclude, the current years draft picks. One of these years, another Bryce Harper will come along, we'll have the draft earlier than we've had the last couple of years, the draftees will not be eiligible, and the manager with that year's #1 pick will cry foul.
What happened last year and this year cannot be undone, but we should really address this before it becomes "an incident".

First, I moved this to the league chat thread where it belongs.
If you guys want an amendment that stipulates this year's drafteee,s some one draw it up and we'll vote on it.
Me, I have no problem with the "floating" eligibility, because the rules spell out who's eligible, but that's just me.

Posted: Sat Sep 22, 2012 11:46 amI agree with Bill on this one. The rule is very clear. And there is nothing in it that suggests that some prospects are off limits, only that the conditions of the rule be met.
