Clarification question: Let's assume the Mariners are not selected. I understand that if I have a core 3 player for my team with 2 years with Mariners, I control him like a core 5. My question is: With that same scenario, core 3 plus 2 years with Mariners but now also 1 year with an active non-carded franchise, for auto draft, do I control and the non-carded franchise can only draft him after auto draft, or can the non-carded franchise auto draft him?

In the example you describe the 2 SEA yrs basically disappear and the player becomes a Core3/1 and he is available for both in the auto draft.

I have to wait to load my NL and AL teams until the AL team is picked. A certain AL team left in the picks effects how I rank both my rosters for the auto-draft.

Many of us are in the same boat so no worries.

Sethmoko, you pick and we start loading. Also I see that you're fairly new to the forums, just a heads up...you can expect a flurry of activity as leagues are getting set up so its helpful if you keep regular tabs on the progress.

Yes, Lynn is available in the auto draft to all his carded and non-carded clubs

Roster size notification:
Due to the player pool size we will be instituting a max roster size, so no carrying 28 guys to stash a few players. The 80's minimum roster size is 23, so we will go with a max 24 players = 10 pitchers and 14 hitters. I hesitate to mandate 23 max as that seems just a little bit too limiting.

Also please note: During waivers please let's avoid holding onto guys above the max roster size until the very last minute. As a courtesy to all the other managers let's try as best as we can to stay within 25 players as we build our rosters.

Anyone have a strong opinion around another option?
