NLD 56 Game Hitting Streak

Wow, second series in a row where we've been outscored but managed to win two games! And, playing the second place game tonight, that was BIG!

After getting our doors blown in game 1 13-3, we took a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the 7th, but he tied it in the 7th and took a 3-1 lead in the 8th. Top of 9 we tie it on a Pujols 1-7 hr (2b the rest). Albert was only playing because I was down to moving Profar to 2b.

Pujols started the winning rally in the 11th with a single. We ended up scoring a run on back-to-back wp by Valdez (wp 1-18) and another run on Gardner's 3b. Final score 5-3.

We won the final game in the top of the 9th on a two out double by D'arnaud.

I think we had a few breaks go our way!

Man! The Central is still a 3-way tie. That's crazy!

Joe, I am STILL waiting on your luck to run out! But, running out of time for that! Love that my team is #1 in Run Diff., but not in a playoff spot. "Gloom, despair, and agony on beer!"

But, yeah, in the end it's a dice game.

My guys have bowed out of the Central race. 3-12 in the last 15 games! Now it's a three-way tie with 15 games to go

Spidey, that's a really tough stretch and an awful time for it to happen!

Stick a fork in me! You can't get swept at this juncture (obviously), and in keeping with the status quo for this team (injuries) I lose my L/O guy for the next three series.
