The season isnt over just yet. We still have a race for the Wild Card slot and home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

It's been an interesting season with the races being close right to the end. We had a relatively efficient draft with several surprise picks in the opening 7 rounds.

I look forward to playing in our next new season.

SOM is a friggin joke some times. We went 4-20 at Stoney and Big A . That's just a joke. No friggin way we were *that* bad in those parks. I hate this game some times. Maybe we weren't a playoff team, but that's just so crazy as to be stupid.

Overall we were 7 and 29 way from home in our division. Seriously? That's just such bad luck. .194 ball? You have to just SUCK to play that bad and clearly we weren't THAT bad.

Congrats to all the playoff teams, I don't mean to take away from you, but, 7-29, really? that's just stupid and it pisses me off.

I'm wondering if your guys gave me a little payback for the effort.

Yeah, I sure didn't help you or Big A last night. I had had a few beers which probably came through in my write up. ;)

In any case, it really is frustrating to be THAT bad on the road in the division. At least with AT, we were just as good at home as bad on the road.

Sorry Semp, Big A, I did the best I could.

Stoney's +20 in one-run games has me a touch worried, since I can't seem to score. Also his is the only playoff team with a winning road record. On the bright side, at least we split for the season, whereas both Semper and Geoff cleaned my clock. :(

My only virtue is that I managed to win the meaningless run differential race.

Joe, the smell of hops from your earlier post even made it to the NC mountains. :)

No worries, JTJ. If we can't even do our part, we can't count on others to help us out.

Congrats to Semper on winning big in games 1 & 2 of the series, at Great American Ballpark.

It looks like it was costly, losing games down the stretch. Even if the Mooseheads made the playoffs, they lost home field advantage to Semper's Flying Wasps - a big deal for these 2 ballclubs!

The Mooseheads are now 1-7 at Great American Ballpark this year - which probably does fit the expected result - especially since I have only 1 reverse balance pitcher - Cosart - against a team with mostly lefty hitters vs RHP.

Even if the Mooseheads sweep at home (which isn't likely - just 3-3 during the year), we'd still have to win one in the homerdome! lol, I got out-homered 6-1 in the first 2 games! ;)

Nice team, Semper! Good luck! :)
