As per the rules

6) You can only trade picks for the current season and one season into the future. For example for the 2015 season (2014 card set) you can trade 2015 and 2016 Free Agent and Prospect picks. You cannot trade 2017 picks or beyond. The 2015 (2014 card set) season starts the last day of the 2014 (2013 card set) season. This rule is to protect the league from an owner trading several picks into the future and then leaving the league. RULE VOTED IN 17/01/2015.

The NBA sees this rule and laughs. They are trading 12 years olds already! Spurs just traded for a 2031 pick!

We will adjust. Can I do a 2026 pick? This rule is pretty limiting if not. I've been in the league for something like 20 years. I looked back and can't believe I voted for this. Maybe 2-3 years sure. Only 1 year out is a bit silly. Funny enough, it was proposed by Nythawk who went MIA this year.

The league can vote to change the rule however as is only 2024 and 2025 picks can be traded.
