I will void the trade for now and you may announce it once again after the draft gets started. The reason the timing is important is that it would affect draft positioning.
If the trade is processed before the draft, then Turtle will start the draft with only 19 on his roster and will require a pick in the 11th round (#235)
If the trade is processed during the draft, then Turtle's additional pick to fill out his roster would not occur until the end of the draft (#244).
And ed, you are currently scheduled to have a full roster at the end of round 8. For that reason, your pick #194 in the 9th round is forfeited at the start of the draft. If you make the trade mid-draft, you would be awarded a supplemental pick at the very end, #244, to ensure you reach 30 players. However, I cannot restore the forfeited 9th round pick.
At the start of the draft, any picks in the late rounds that would put a team over the 30 man limit will be considered forfeited. They are no longer assets that can be used in trades. Any teams that will have less than 30 players on their roster will be allotted selections in additional rounds at the end of the draft, in order, for as many rounds as it takes to complete.
Supplemental selections will be added to the very end of the draft if any trade during the draft causes a team to lack sufficient number of picks to get to the required post-draft roster of 30 players.
