My math skills aren't that strong (maybe that's why I switched from accounting to sales  ) so I don't do much beyond looking at my division. I had started a long post yesterday comparing my team to DJ's since we are the two power teams in the division but after digging into the numbers the results, while different than what I anticipated, were what you would expect based on the teams and ballparks.

Briefly, I expected him to hit more HR's but also give up more comparing his pitching to mine. That works on the surface but once you build in the ballpark difference the fact that he's given up fewer HR's makes sense. I knew I should have grabbed GAP before him.

Stones, I'll have to look at what you're talking about, but wanted to add this quickly. Not having GAP isn't hurting you very much! You have the second best rec in the league

Joe,

I appreciate the effort that goes into the ratings. Like all here, I wait for your release to gauge my draft. Of course, SOM still a dice game and it tends crush plans of mice & men.

My dice luck has been challenged this season but the guys are finally getting a few breaks. Maybe there is hope for Tim in the second half of this season.

Ok, if any of you decide to visit me in the SF Bay Area, I'll take you here like I did for AT and Silver. :)

In case you guys don't know, that's me on the left, AT in the middle and Silver on the right.

hmm, no comment on that pic?

In NLD news, we lead the league in unearned runs by a wide margin. Twice as many as anyone except for DJ. Not like we have high error guys except for Betemit and Upton. :(

Wow, two more one run losses (both in extras) and 4 unearned runs leading to the losses. Wow. :(

As far as the pic goes, it's always fun to match he faces with the names. I loved Frisco when I went there(many years ago.)

A sweep...finally. My team's been putzin' around all season...thanks to a ho-hum draft, I'm pretty lacking in the power department, but still thought I'd get more out of my offense. Still time to turn things around though.
