Like Roscodog, I too will be looking to retool this upcoming season. I am willing to trade good players for prospects, prospect picks and draft picks. I dont need any actual cards in return so you can keep your good players for next year.
You can add to your roster to make a playoff push at the small cost of prospects and draft picks.
The following will be available (You can ask about others if you like):
SP Marcus Stroman
SP Johnny Cueto
CL Edwin Diaz
1B Freddie Freeman
3B Alex Bregman
You can see that these are real cards that will help a playoff team and not marginal players.

1. you may keep between 15 and 20 players. These are not announced until the new cards are released in Feb/Mar
2. You can have 10 prospects, BUT.....
a. you have to cut/promote enough to draft in this prospect draft. thus you must cut/promote 4 prospects if you have 10 currently IF you want to use your 4 picks in the prospect draft.
b. you must cut/promote any prospect that says "21" next to him as his time is up.
