Hey Corky,
As the long time partner with Wineman, I'm always glad to see our "alumni" rejoin our ranks and you're no exception
You can check out the history of the NLD here:
http://angelfire.com/games5/joethejet/NLD_History.xls (you'll probably have to cut and paste to get it to work)
Silver played in 28 of the first 29 NLD's and took his leave after NLD 29. Sad to see him go. Niners left after NLD 25. So the only original NLDer is me and Wineman. Wineman, my erstwhile partner, is very busy so for the past couple years has only made cameo appearances, but I expect that, as his kids get a little older, he'll be more involved with the NLD again.
Abner hasn't been around for a long time, in fact, he left before you did. Is he still playing 201*? He held the record for NLD wins until Jeep broke it in NLD 29.
So, the short and long of it, me, Big M, Semper, Hawk, Jeep, and ArrylT (aka AT) are still around from when you left in '05. Smokee just left after NLD30. When you think about it, that's pretty impressive that that many guys are still doing the NLD thing.
That's half the league. Semper is a bit like you, left, came back, left and came back.
