OK, except your draft plan is not the same as the original plan. So it would be good to see the order of picks in each of the new rounds.

I thought we were sticking with the original order at the beginning of this thread, just simply eliminating the 13th round (the third one for pitchers). Leave the picks as they already have been made and carry on. I'll be happy to try to find someone to fill FB's slot, but we need to hear from the other two managers who have not yet notified us whether they want to continue.

scrap the 13th round
keep the stadium draft round
rd1 RF, rd2 CF, rd 3 2b, rd 4 ss, rd 5 lf, rd 6 any SP, rd 7 C, rd 8 RP only, rd 9 3b, rd 10 any P, rd 11 1b, rd 12 any H
we will assume hackra (me) and rmilter traded picks of Maddux and Murray (to keep rounds consistent)
rmilter MAY pick a SP in rd 8 if he chooses (comishioner's ruling)
we will go round by round completing the remaining picks and rounds in order to avoid confusion

Are there any recruiting or contact efforts ongoing?

I m still in if, we reboot from the first round. The round where we all picked, our first round pick. Then, preceed to the RF round then CF round etc etc etc.

I don't mind rebooting after keeping our No. 1 picks, but it seems like a frightful waste of time in a draft that is going to take a long time anyway. Given that we can only choose players by their primary positions in each round, why start over?
The quickest way to get through to the autodraft is precisely what we've started to do. Why should someone who has the second pick for center fielders have to wait until all 12 right fielders are chosen. Nobody in the RF round can draft a player whose primary position is CF. Nor 1b, 2b, ss, 3b etc. So why slow things down by insisting that everybody wait until all 12 picks in the current round have been made. I'd like to get this league up and running before the Fourth of July.

If teamsters805 checks in and wants to keep playing, I'll find a sub for FB. But I don't want to start that process until we know for sure how many replacements we need.
