5 SEASON 2 FRANCHISE + 1/2 FRANCHISE DRAFT

I overlooked the $100M salary cap and I am ok with that. That's what we signed up for. Of course the commish can always put it up for a vote if enough express interest.

i would like to maintain the 100 million payroll to maintain equality over the 5 years. however i would consider a higher payroll to accommodate callups etc, if the current payroll number stays at 100 mill. so we set 140 mill but always keep current roster values at 100.

ps division will be via randomizer

Just a suggestion. But as we are already monitoring roster restrictions of our 2 1/2 teams, and to have to also police a $100 mil active cap with the $140 overall cap. . Oy.

Whether we are at $100 mil or $140 mil, I'd suggest we actually PLAY to that cap, and not have to monitor.

. . . and, as I will be the first on to finish team selection, I can create the league and load, if the Commish gives me the go-ahead and gives me a password to set, etc.

The actual player selection is not an issue, as I have already created a team and loaded it with the Yankees I have. I'll flesh it out once I have my next team. This way, we can get the league loaded.

Yeah I agree with that. It'd be tough to monitor team caps everyday. I'm alright with either too. I understand the wanting to maintain equality throughout, but at the same time, that is helping to be maintained by draft order of the 1/2 team. Just an FYI, I put together my 09 team (Rockies/Blue Jays) obviously no 1/2 team yet and I'm already at 106 mill and it's not exactly a powerhouse squad either.

well as i said, 100 million cap was my original plan and what we agreed to. so if there is no objection. i will use the strat shuffle to select the divisions.
