I prefer 12 rounds instead of 8, but 8 is OK, too. Anything to get the draft up and running soon. Will there be a time limit to make picks?

Hey Ric! Thanks for the CONSOLIDATED Keepers List for next season's Armchair 51. No excuses for poaching the Hippo again. Hard to believe ONLY 2 Starters were retained (though unlike you, I put Senor Freddie the Scherman in that category too).

GO REDSOX -- now, dontcha just love them Cubbie fans in the Group ... pretending they DON'T KNOW the World Series just began last night ... "oh it'll be over around 2 AM" ... CENTRAL Time? (BAH) ... "oh I'm watching a basketball game" ... some feat for red blooded hockey fans ... "oh I've got two cute little girls crawling all over me making me distort my win total UPWARD" ...

Funny isn't it? Just like prices in our "capitalist, market driven" economy, they always seem to just go UP ... dontcha ever wonder why "the market" doesn't bring them DOWN roughly half the time when there are price or cost changes ... kinda like our landing on the Hitter / Pitcher cards ... uhhh don't get me going on THAT one.

GO REDSOX ... GO DODGAH BLUE ... oh damn ... THEY STILL haven't ever met in a World Serious ... maybe ... just maybe ... NEXT YEAR ... then you'll see me REALLY pertoibbed.

This here Pirates' fan is rooting hard for those Redbirds, from whom his Buccos have won the season series two straight years. You gotta love Mikawaka, even though he is an Aggie barely 1 year removed.

Whenever I see the Red Sox, I wonder how David Arias managed to morph into Big Papi in the age of 'roids without ever testing positive. It seems about as likely as a brick floating across the Atlantic.

Pick 3 is up. The Dope is slower then normal.

I will list him as a starter which is his primary position.

Yeah... Coach roots for the SouthSiders, but under it all he wears pinstripes. When October comes around, he pulls out his stash of Reggie Bars.

Sorry to interrupt, but I couldn't resist. Just wanted to say hello to my LONGTIME Armchair competitors Mark, Bob, Denny & Coach. 51 seasons....amazing!! All the way back to early ATG1 when I was "Ty Cobb & the Social Misfits" . I'd call this an ATG classic, but that wouldn't do it justice. Gotta go with an American Baseball Classic 8-)

Great to see the Armchair still kickin'.

Ah, Reggie Bars, what wonderful memories they bring. I'll never forget the summer of 1977, shortly after they came out. Reggie had spent one year with my beloved Birds, and actually played quite well. Then left as a free agent to the pinstripes' folks. I was out one evening with a good friend that summer, and it was late, around midnight, and we got the munchies. We were both 19 at the time.

And like the mature, well rounded young adults we were, as we walked the aisles of the local 7-11, we found a bag of Reggie Bars. Somehow, the bag found its way to the floor in the aisle. And suddenly, my buddy and I got the urge to dance. Specifically, the stomp. And lo and behold, each and every Reggie Bar in the bag was smashed to smithereens.

Ah...the fun and joy of youth.
