MFL would have had 1 sup pick without our deal (as his roster would have been at 39 as the deal included 3 players going to his team and only 2 players + 1 sup pick coming my way), made a pick and then our deal would have gone through and I still would have my original 3 picks.
Well, you DID have 4 picks at the start of the draft - which is allowed. But you lose the rights to the fourth pick unless you trade it before making your 3rd selection.
By trading for an additional pick, you moved up in the draft without giving away a pick to a competitor... Why is this confusing?
