2019 D2D Prospect Draft --Complete!

Just my $0.02 but I think Fred and WJS should get to keep their picks but we should now stop until Victor repicks. Seems like the fairest thing to do at this point.

I disagree. The mistake was pointed out at 2:29, and WJS should’ve held his pick until I had the chance to repick. He submitted a minute later. I’d have taken Alonzo.

I’ve learned my lesson - think only of me, fuck everyone else. If there is no clock and I’m at work just make them all wait until I can check, double check and triple check a list, rosters, etc.

Just an opinion. Thought it was the fairest way to handle it, I’m indifferent as it doesn’t affect me in this situation. Every other league I’ve been in though you’d be out of luck and the draft would continue.

Paul ruled on it, so nothing is going to change with respect to valid picks that have been made. Sean expressed willingness to wait until Victor posts a valid pick. We need to move forward.

So, I play this game for fun. It is definitely not life or death. Opinions, like so many other things in life, is something that everybody has one of.

My opinion is, that since there is no clock in this round, I am going to wait for Victor to make his selection, unless I am directed to make my pick by the commissioner.

I hope that everyone can take a step back, and recognize this for what it is - a GAME. It doesn't define us, it doesn't make us a better husband or father if we finish first than it does if we finish 23rd.

Looks like I missed a lively discussion today, but for what it's worth, I think Rosco tried to have the most balanced approach (and Sean and Cal).

The problem as I see it is not that the league has rules about when your turn in the draft rolls around. The problem is that it sounds like the various roster docs were in conflict with one another.

I'm commish in a bunch of other leagues. Generally speaking, if a manager makes an error in the draft, then life goes on and he can re-pick whenever. On the other hand, if the league makes an error, then the draft stops and re-starts at a point before the error.

In this instance, I don't understand the facts well enough to know which is which. I do understand, though, that this is a game and is supposed to be fun!
