I have (arguably) the two best hitting Catchers in the deck. Since I, at 61, can throw down to 2nd faster than Kirk ( ) he will be in the DH spot.

Crazy that you took them both. I figured one bad defensive catcher was enough! Of course. I took my own bad defensive catcher so maybe the pot is calling the kettle black!

Unfortunately there were already three proxy fails for me: Bader, Frazier, Lin.

i had set the proxy to take 1 player from that respective groups. But what happened was that Buxton was auto-drafted and then the number was not set to 0, but remained at 1, so Bader was auto-drafted also, same with Lopez/Frazier/Lin. it is frustrating.

I'm for letting BigA swap out those picks, if he wants, from the available players. I've not used proxies many times, so only have myself to blame for my bad picks.

Yeah, I'm not sure how we do that in a fair way. It could be that someone *would* have drafted one of those guys, but now someone else beats them to it. I would say, however, that if someone *does* want one of those guys, make a trade. I'm sure Big A would deal.

I guess in the future if we have proxy fails, holler sooner rather than later and maybe we can fix it as best we can?

Sorry for hollering late. But I've been very busy the last days (that's why I had so many proxies). so today was the first time I could take a longer look at the draft and could check what happened. Those proxy fails compromised the whole darft. If yeverything would have gone right, instead of Bader I would have taken a SS (not Correa) in the 3rd round, and SPs in the 4th and 5th round, probably better ones than the combo of Cole and E. Hernandez, just because there were more avaiaible in those round, and i would have taken relievers in rounds 9 and 10 instead of Frazier and Lin(!) Don't know what to make of that. Those guys I wanted are all gone now and we cannot reshuffle the whole draft. So maybe it's best to don't do anything and I will try to trade Bader and Frazier for some pitching ( not that I hope to get much for them). .

I mean, I'm OK with you cutting those guys and picking new, but I'm not sure about the rest of the guys. I would think we would need to wait till it's your turn to do so?

We would need to take a vote.

I vote he can fix his roster. A flaw in the drafting system shouldn't disable a person's team.
