HI!
I was reviewing the team salaries from this year in a 24 team league I play in and I came to two conclusions:

1. With 18 to 24 teams 100 million would make managers consider moving a player or two every once in a while.
2. 80 million would be a challenge but could leave a few 15 million players on the scrap heap. I would hate to see a well
drafted and run team be penalized for being good.
3. It is my opinion that a 90/100 million dollar cap would allow for managers to keep their superstars but still provide the
challenge you mentioned above.

In reading the rules, here are my comments:

1. Trading of picks - I am fine for initial draft, but I read the rest to be trading of draft picks for the current season is allowed (was that the intent?), I thought I read that trading of picks for initial draft would be done, but not for other FA drafts?
2. Salary, I think $120M is a good cap on salary, $100M I think would work as well, anything lower than that may leave some teams having to make daily roster moves to stay under the cap. 18 teams is unique number, I would be comfortable anywhere in the 100M-120M cap.

The rules should probably state the obvious, that no team is allowed to have fewer than 25 carded players to field a team. I concur with the previous post regarding salary cap, it should be at least $100M and I would personally prefer $120M.

Since we are using 5/10/20% drop penalties, I think going to $120M would be my new thinking, I guess $110M would work as well.

I think $110M would be no problem. Can't see there being a ton of moving players up and down since most of your players not rostered are likely to be your uncarded players anyway. I'd like to see a cap that's somewhat low while still being workable in the name of having a league as balanced as possible.

100 K seems reasonable to maintain an equity.

1. please add a minimum off-season roster size… As it currently is written people can I have a roster size of zero after the season.

2. Let’s not go below 100 million for an 18 team league. 110 or 120 would be fine too if you can adjust it that finely.

Hey Padre, tell us more. I'm curious as to why clearing the bench would hurt anybody else?
