I'd love to spend all I have but I don't see the reason to do so until I see how the team performs. Nice to have that flexibility! Helps with deals too, so send me your ideas!!

Some initial stats. Hopefully I got everyone's teams entered properly
Code: Select all
.......   Linup   Pit.   Bch   SPs..   RPs..   Tot
AT.....   46.91   37.59   14.49   24.25   13.34   99.0
Big A..   45.30   47.69   6.74   29.96   17.73   99.7
Corky..   50.72   41.78   7.14   27.27   14.51   99.6
GBrook.   60.98   32.04   6.45   19.83   12.21   99.5
gmac...   48.47   31.52   11.56   17.40   14.12   91.6
Hawk...   59.86   32.49   7.58   19.98   12.51   99.9
JMP....   58.45   34.85   6.06   22.37   12.48   99.4
JTJ....   57.12   35.94   6.63   22.48   13.46   99.7
Semper.   39.83   45.79   14.33   29.67   16.12   100.0
Smokey.   61.11   33.68   4.99   19.65   14.03   99.8
Spider.   53.00   32.32   14.48   21.96   10.36   99.8
Stoney.   54.93   40.11   4.19   26.79   13.32   99.2

Notes:
GB and Smoke have the most on their lineups (defined as RH Lineup) with Hawk not far behind
Semper far away the lowest, but AT and Big A are also low spenders

Big A (as usual) is at the top of the pitchers with Semper right there.
What about AT you ask? Well, he's spending a whopping 14.49 on the bench, Spider is also joining the bench parade with 14.48 spent.

Stoney has the lowest bench with a paltry 4.19, Smoke is also under 5 mil.

Rotations are lead by Big A and Semper's nearly 30 mil squads with gmac scrimping at 17.4
Big A is almost 18 mil in the pen while Spider doesn't need to show us any stinkin' pen with only 10.36 spent.

Fielding
Code: Select all
Big A   -208
GBrook   157
Semper   280
Smokey   305
JMP   319
gmac   404
JTJ   404
Stoney   482
Hawk   529
Corky..   573
Spider   582
AT   787

As can be seen, Big A is off the charts with a rarely seen negative fielding rating. He's starting all 1's with a pair of -3 catchers behind the dish. He didn't skimp on the arms (take note GB) with a -3,-2 and -4 in the OF.

AT is out to prove that it doesn't matter how bad your D is we will just out hit you! 787 is not quite as bad as -208 is good. He's not starting a single 1 or 2 v RHP and has a +1 arm behind the plate. He could be worse however as three 2's start v LHP and he *does* have escobar to fill in for Hanley. We're not sure how Denard Span got on to this team, but we assume he takes a cab by himself everywhere he goes so that the stone mitts don't rub off on him. ;)

True we won two, but "smacked" is a sweep. Winning two is good, but I don't think we can continue our pace of HRs, particularly the solo type.

Denard Span is my starting CF vs RHP (therefore I do have a 1 range fielder against RHP).

He shares the cab with Escobar. :P

Lemahieu & Infante fill in for Gennett (who doesnt play against LHP).

While I do have a large bench, Lemahieu and Escobar are the only ones who do not platoon in at some point, and since they are there to be defensive subs & injury replacements that bench cost is well spent imo. :)

Especially considering I already have 18 injury days (more than the rest of my division combined).

Ah, Ok, I thought maybe you were starting Guitierrez in CF. I have adjusted your ratings above. You impoved to 787 with that move. Still bad, but not horrid.

Yeah, I overlooked Escobar. He and Span are sure to room together. ;)

As for injuries, I suspect that you'll have a lot over the year. You have only 2 players with 600 PA, your entire bench outside of Escobar and Suzuki have at least 3 injury chances and you have 3 in your starting lineup that are 3,4,6. Probably why you're carrying to many players.

Other injury stats:
Code: Select all
Mgr....   600   Ave
AT.....   1   2.22
BigA...   6   1.22
Corky..   1   1.44
Gbrooke   2   1.56
gmac...   5   1.78
Hawk...   5   1.22
JMP....   4   1.44
JTJ....   4   1.22
Semper.   4   1.11
Smokey.   3   1.44
Spider.   3   1.78
Stoney.   2   1.44

This is only v RHP. As you can see AT is the leading candidate to lead the league in injuries (and that's not even showing the injury stats of his bench) Other teams with issues are Corkey, GB and Stoney.

OTOH, Big A is pretty injury proof with Hawk slightly behind and gmac in pretty good shape also.

Jet can you explain how you are coming up with your ratings? I am not familiar with your system.
