My keepers are Greg Maddux, Pete Alexander and Joe Wood. I will actually use a pitching card for Wood so need an official ruling on how he will count in the keeper tally....... pitcher or hitter.

Ric, I say if you're using Joe Wood as a Pitcher he should be counted as a pitcher because he won't be able to play the field at any time during the season unless you drop him and reacquire the fielder's card, which for strat purposes is a separate player.

Commissioner's ruling. This season both cards are eligible, so you may use either. If you plan to use the pitcher card, then he is a pitcher for purposes of keeper (if you want him to count as a hitter, you must use the hitter card at least through game 6).
