Superkeeper league

There's a Problem that I just recognized from looking at an older file for the league:

It appears that I drafted Jonathan Schoop, SS BAL, with the second of my 3rd round picks (#34) in the last prospect draft.

Only, I just discovered that the Turtle previously drafted Jonathan Schoop, 2B BAL, with HIS 4th round pick in the previous draft.

When I did a search on the files for his name, nothing had come up ... so I figured I had a good pick. But since he is someone else's property, I don't have a good pick ... I have no pick at all.

Is there a way that I can re-pick that choice since nobody discovered the error, or if they did, failed to notify me of the unavailability of that player? Since it was the next to last pick (sandwiched around two forfeited picks), there shouldn't be much of a problem with this. Or if there is any other solution that seems viable, I'm open to hearing it.

Help me out here guys. I received an email from mondreyes at 7:05am this morning that he's dropping Hudson in trade with Fred to get back to 40 and this trade shows up a few minutes later.

This is why drops need to be announced upon confirmation of the trade here on the board.

Let us know what's going on with this because "technically" mondreyes didn't have Hudson to trade going off of time stamps.

Wasn't commish then Aray so wouldn't have happened #1. With that said, it's just as much our responsibility as owners to check for things like that as well as the commish. Should've been caught by you or Michael much sooner than yesterday, but I'm fine with giving you an extra pick at the end of next years Prospect draft to correct. Not fair IMO for you to pick now since an entire baseball season has been played. We can vote on it though if you don't think that's fair. You wouldn't be voting of course and my vote only needed if tied at 5-5 at the end.

Guys, feel free to chime in on this as well if you don't feel this is a fair compromise.

That's fair as far as I'm concerned. Not looking to gain any advantage, just looking for a fair solution to my problem.
