Commish? Is the any chance you could summarize the drafted players in alpha order in the first post of the thread? Will save a lot of searching time in later rounds for previously picked players.

Sure, I think I can do that pretty easy.

I'll update that on Friday night.

There was prior discussion of a provision that you didn't have to select from a letter (e.g., "Q") if you previously selected (not skipped) from that letter. Is that a definite provision for this league now? If so, should we designate a formal identification (e.g., "prior letter skip") to differentiate such from one of our 3 normal skips?

So for example, in a later round, if a Manager had previously selected from "Y", "A", and "B", has a normal skip left, and the prior Manager's selection was "W", he could theoretically go past:

X - no players
Y - prior letter skip
Z - uses a remaining normal skip
A - prior letter skip
B - prior letter skip

all the way to C

Is that correct?

Thanks,

JoeyC

After drawing U, K, Z, and N for the first four rounds, I'm looking forward to actually getting some of the high-usage letters before all the best options are gone. I actually gave some consideration to using my third skip in four rounds...

Good Point JoeyC

SKIPS -

SKIP (1,2,3) should always be designated with a number to keep track
....these would be our "elected skips". We need to start doing this, I will update the draft threads

LETTER SKIPS (or LS) will designate skipping because there are not players to pick

In the past for SKIPS because you have that letter already, normally we'd do something like this:

pacoboy - ("F" Furillo rd 3), "G" - Gherig $10.03

But I see your point.

dukie, you put your SKIPS to good use with Vaughn and Aaron.....but I'd save the last one till at least rd 20 or till you have a bunch of letters picked.

Don't forget US CELLULAR is an option at "U" next time

JoeyC makes an interesting point about not picking a letter twice. If we can skip like that, won't we, in effect, be allowing each of us to have an unrestricted pick? At some point in the draft, we will all have each available letter already selected. Will we then be allowed to just go to the next letter that has our favorite player that's left? Kind of defeats the purpose of the rules, I should think.
