One last question before I end all this rising suspense. For example, the Braves would have to play the 1957 Eddie Mathews card and could not use the 1953 Eddie Mathews card.

No, the only stated exception for the Braves is you must use the 1951 Al Brazle card (if you even choose to use him at all)

ANY Mathews card is eligible....................GULP

Rosters attempt to use the most possible players from the specific team year given (i.e. 1957 Braves), but, FOR THE MOST PART, you can use ANY card to represent that player (unless I stated specific stipulations on the roster list)

Crapola! I really wanted the Braves. Oh well. This may be the first time in this theme that a Yankee team wasn't picked either 1 or 2? Well, 4 teams to look at. Will make my pick some time tonight.

Sorry ModMark. I'm from Philadelphia. It would be heresy for me to draft a Yankees team.

No worries. I think the Braves are a great choice, especially playing in the West Division. I was sure they would fall to me in the 3 spot. And you "beat" me out for the #2 pick by just a whisker (either Run Differential or Head to Head record. Not sure what the tie break was, as we both had the same W-L record).

Sorry, mark, I shouldve stated that JKolak got the tiebreaker because of your better head-to-head record. You won the season series 7-5. HEad-to-head is Strat's first tiebreaker, so thats the one I use.
