Guys, just seeking some possible clarification on something related to the divisions.

I placed MFL in the East, and MGrammes in the Central because MFL won his division with 84 wins. MG did not make the playoffs with 85 wins. I placed all four playoff teams from Season 1 in the East. The rules appear to be a little vague on this to me, so I simply made a decision based on what I thought was right. Does anyone have any insight or past practice on this? It has always been my thought that this should be the case, so as to allow two other teams (at least) an opportunity to make the playoffs (and earn potential credits).

Let me know what you think, or your interpretation of the rules.

I'm in, also would like to add a high 2nd rounder in Supp draft, holler if you want to swap a Supp pick for an FA pick.

Best Record determines the Division Alignment. The Best Top 4 Team Records are the ""Beasts In The East". Then the next best team records for Central Division, then the West Division. According SOM Rules, in case of Tie Breakers, the decision is made by Head-To-Head Records, then Run Differential, then the HAL Coin Flip. Records within the division don't apply unless there is a Three Way Tie with same records.

OK, I get that. But shouldn't it be the 4 playoff teams from the 1st season, regardless of record, as in this case? That, at least, guarantees that 2, and possibly 3 new teams will make the playoffs in season 2. In your scenario, it is possible that only one new team would qualify for playoffs in season 2.

I propose an amendment to the rules stating as much, and changing the wording of the rules to show that:

"The divisional alignment for Season 2 is based upon the standings from Season 1, with the 4 playoff teams being placed in the East, and the Central and West being determined by wins of non-playoff teams in descending order."

The tie-breaker would remain as stated in the rules.

I'm happy to do whatever everyone else wants, but in the past haven't we have moved the bottom team in the East and Central down one, and the top team in the Central and West up one? So only four teams move, and only one division each.

But as you say, we can do whatever we want.
