Prospect pick 24 is not a valid pick at this point, since you do not currently have roster space for it. If you free up an earlier pick, then prospect pick 24 would be available after that.

Based on email you sent it valid right now, prospect draft hasn't started yet and that pick isn't even up yet. Are you now saying that I lose the pick if do not trade it or free up roster spot now?

This one varies by league. For Deja Vu:
- FA draft comes first
- Must draft to full roster at league limit (40)
- If you had any prospects, you could promote during FA draft, but you do not, so...
- You need to clear a roster spot by trade -- after the FA draft ends and before your last prospect pick rolls around
- You forfeit that last pick if you do not have roster space at that point in time

- You clear a roster spot by trade
- And then promote 1 of the prospects you just drafted
- Which finally makes pick #24 a valid pick

...or you trade away prospect pick 17, same, same
