That is certainly a novel occurrence for this team. All those high draft picks over the years have finally born fruit.

Good luck to all. This league may be heading toward an era of more parity. That would be fun.

The problem with sims is that the guy doing the Sim has to be careful to set up effective CM's for all the teams. That is tough.

I know you're a relatively newbie to my sims Craig, but I spend about 1/2 an hour to an hour per team doing lineups, manager strategy, batter & pitcher settings, etc. I approach each team as if it were mine & try to adjust pretty carefully. We'll see in a couple of months how it turns out...

Prospect draft starts towards the end of March after we see how ST goes.

One thing about Mine, I set all hitters to NEVER Hit and Run in the individual settings and Extra Conservative on the team settings

Bunt is set to Conservative on team and and unless they are an A bunter they are checked to never bunt. Don't know if you knew that, and I set ALL my teams that way, the Hit and Run chart is a disaster IMHO.

Yeah it does take that level of effort. I used to do them for a PBM league 20 years ago.

Real men start the prospect draft before ST starts. Otherwise it becomes a "this guy made an opening day roster" draft.

burgh appears to be running away with the West and Goldie has been going down each series. I just lost him for 10 games so am looking for a good 1B player. Willing to trade for players or future draft choices...

It's way too early to talk about running away. It is curious, though, that Stoney and I have each had only one home series so far.
