Ok everyone, we are set. I will get the available player list to everyone over the next day or 2. We can then start untimed rounds that will go through the weekend. We can start the timer on Monday, assuming we are through the first round.

As I try to rebuild this mess of a team I inherited (Detroit got out at the right time!), I'm just grabbing talent this year cause I don't think I can compile enough to really compete this year....HOWEVER...that being said, I am open to trades...Ortiz, Sano, Duda, Moreland, S Smith, B Gardner...

Obviously some more attractive than others, but I'm willing to entertain fair offers...

I'm just thrilled he took Sano and not Russell. I also really liked to picks of Gutierrez and Piscotty, I did not think there was any way one of Lindor, Correa or Russel would make it to me at 9.

Yeah, I needed a high end SS.......and at #5 I was afraid I wouldn't get either of the top 2. It's a HUGE drop to the #3 SS in the draft. Might have to wheel and deal.

I toyed with Piscotty, but in the long run I think Sano's gonna be a 30-40 HR guy, not so sure about Piscotty amounting to much.

Trying to stock my team with strong youth, knowing I have too many holes to fill this year to really contend. Russell may be nice if he can live up to the hype he had coming up, but right now he's all glove no bat.

Kyle, what happened to make you want to find another hobby. Is it the greatness of guys like Ninersphan and Keyzick that is scaring you away?

LOL...It's no problem. Just 2 guys dogging my pick, no big deal. I just like Piscotty. I had him top 4 available, so I guess you could say I was surprised he was available. I just really like his swing. I would have taken Sano too if he had fallen to me. It came down to Piscotty and Russell and I just felt more comfortable with SP. I realize SS is a valuable position, but I value differently and that's ok. My comment was more in jest than facetiousness.

Don't get me wrong, I like Piscotty a lot...and I probably should have taken him as a better fit for my team. I just love the power prospect of Sano though, which I couldn't pass up.
