Oh, I'm sure of it too. I've 7 proxies ready for the waiver run. I need to entice a 3B to join my team for $170k.

Hey Joe,

Are you playing the $1m SS for the entire season?

Semper,

Surprised you took AT in the West. Not because I don't think he can win, but he's sitting there with almost $6 mil in cap so who knows what he's actually going to end up with!

As for my SS position. Right now he's my only viable SS so, at this point, I guess so. ;) We'll see what happens when all is said and done.

Corky, I don't like doing the ratings too early for various reasons, not the least of which is that people will make too many roster moves until the cap hit goes up to at least 10%. I don't like having to rework them.

We'll see when I get around to it, but it's doubtful you'll see anything before the cap goes up for sure.

Joe,

I know why you don't do them early, I mentioned it a few posts back. Just kind of takes the fun out of it though when they come out near mid season.

Yeah, I just don't know how accurate they are before then. When you were in the NLD before, I think the cut was always 20% so it didn't take so long to get the ratings in. People didn't cut as much as they do with the lower margin.

We'll see how it goes.

The fact AT's team is shapeless today is exactly why I selected him as the early favorite. He isn't married to his initial draft strategy so he can adjust without feeling invested in anyone player.

I'll be shocked if you run with a sub $1M SS past the open series. Since you didn't invested in a $13M Barry Bonds like card, no need to go cheap at the skilled position. We'll see indeed :D

Come on!

Aaron Hicks is primed for a breakout bench player season. He'll surprise you with his sharp bunting and deft base path awareness skills.

I bet Joe covets Aaron for his team. Would round out that SS situation nicely!

Man! I didn't get offer either!

Really? Who's decent that would improve my team over Ryan? True that I might not have Trout, but it allows more balance throughout the lineup with one "pitcher-like" spot.
