I'll go one step further and argue that Murray shouldn't be in the player set in the first place, as the card is based off of half a season (he didn't come up until July) that is completely unrepresentative of the rest of his career. He didn't have an ERA below 3.00 for any full season for the rest of his career. Based on that fluke card, he regularly pitches more than 300 innings per season -- much more than any relief pitcher in baseball history. I suppose the offensive equivalent would be getting 1,000 at bats out of Gates Brown.
