Are we going to select 50-cent starting pitchers as proxies for stadiums during the draft?

Below are the 30 50-cent starters with the worst ERAs lined up alphabetically with the stadiums if we want to use that system.

Al, I like the stadium idea, but have SERIOUS doubts everyone is checking this board. alternitive would be to draft stadiums here, but AGAIN, not sure everyone would be drafted in time. we can try, but fear we'll just have to go with some duplicates, sort of a handicap for your past dominance since tailoring your team/park is one of your geniuses..

What if stadiums were selected by a random draw prior to the draft? Could add a new wrinkle...

Recommend we pick stadiums in advance, either by random draw or otherwise. If the draft takes 4-5 hours (as Al projected it might), there are going to be a whole bunch of people autodrafting late (especially those in Eastern and Central time zones), and they won't get a stadium. Added complication: DST starts this weekend, so we lose an hour of sleep Saturday night.

still haven't heard from terry or visick...and there are others who aren't really checking this thread much. only two options I see are random stadium idea, or duplicates if we have to. its a bit of a miracle we got all twelve free togerther on a sunday night...which isn't even assured yet. is it THAT important that we all have an individual stadium or one that NO ONE else has? if we start drafting stadiums here and three or four people don't check in before sunday night, what do we do, ASSIGN stadiums to the missing? personally I don't see duplicate stadiums as that big a deal, it happens all the time in other leagues. we can make sure we get unique stadiums for NL and AL only, but for now, at 630 easterm pm friday, about 50 hours before the draft, I'd say chances of everyone checking in here and picking a stadium are slim...but I can set it up just in case....

actually, I can't set it up...heading out shortly...if someone wants to do random, or ask for a sequence and post a stadium draft order, have at it.

I'm checking in. Do we think we can pull off a live draft on Sunday night? My wife has been out of town for 9 days and gets back Sunday afternoon. She will be thrilled that I will be on a 2-hour draft when she gets back.

Oh well, she's used to it.
