No one else can draft the Pitcher Ohtani. He can only be used either as a Pitcher or as a Hitter, but not both.

Uh, Ok. I went to mark him as not-draftable as a pitcher, but it gave me a weird message so I'm not going to try it. We'll just have to know.

What I was trying to say is Jeep may draft him as a pitcher too (so he has both cards)---but Hal would screw it up probably--he couldn't DH for himself--(That is an actual rule in MLB I think--if he hits for himself and comes out as a pitcher you can't keep him in as DH). Hal would treat the hitters card on the bench as a second player--so I think it wise to have the other half of Ohtani not draft able after someone takes him. Roster numbers issues too though I can overlook that.


Funny-- playing the board game there is no issue at all. Computers don't quite rule yet.

I'd be fine with this too, but it sounds like this is not the SOP so....

2 teams couldn't draft Ohtani..his pitcher card not available if hitter card is drafted and vice versa.

I don’t imagine you’re using Dwight (not to be confused with Dwight Evans) in the outfield.

Your Dwight ain’t much of a glove or an arm. Ain’t the fastest a foot and surely he won’t be called upon to bunt or hit and run.
