Good going guys. Now comes the truly easy part.

Now that we are at the finish line (we should be done early this evening), here are a few points to help with the draft process.

For those who've never done a pre-draft like this, there ARE no other player choices to
make for the auto-draft.

1. Start a team as you normally would. $80, DH, ATG8, 5-10-20, Advanced.

2a. Name your team location after your two HITTER LETTERS. My two letters are G and Y
for my hitters, so my location will be "Grand Yawn." The reason we are doing this is so
we have an easy way to tell a. Our own letters, b. Our oppenents letters and c. To
better notice if any mistakes are made. My hitters should ONLY be drawn from the pool
of players whose last names begin with G and/or with Y.

2b. similarly for your team nickname, name it after your two PITCHER LETTERS.
BrotherA4him has selected N and K as his pitcher selections, so his nickname could be
"Nin Kompoops," for example. Be creative if you can, but in any case, please note the
ownership of your hitters in your Location; and your pitchers in your Teamname.

3. When you get to your draft selection list, all you need to do is to fill your
required pitching choices with Starters and Relievers using only your two pitcher
letters. Do the same for your hitters. The first time I joined a league like this, I
was insistent that I would never get all the players I choose. But here is the secret:
If everyone is only choosing from their assigned letter pools, there will be NO
COMPETITION for any of your players, and your roster will be exactly what you draft.
In the event that someone makes a mistake, and drafts a player the rights to which he
does NOT own, after the autodraft, he will simply drop that player. Same during the
regular season, of course.

4. Ballpark selection is unrestricted.

5. Select “Alphabet Soup” The pass is soup lower case.

5. Once the Autodraft runs, we will spend the next few days prior to opening day on
Monday building our team from the few hundred players that you have exclusive rights
to. You can drop and pick up at will during the season, just keeping in mind the drop
penalties, as always.
