We got our first sweep of the year against Meat and then turned around and got swept by Dale. Dale just has our number in every single league whether he has a playoff team or an East division team, he beats us. It's crazy.

Had THREE 1-16 bphrs against Dale and missed them all. Go figure.

I think bad luck still qualifies as luck?

Lost my slugging Catcher for 15. Going to be in trouble (literally) with Trouble coming in tonight.

I see what you did there! I had a similar experience being without Murphy & Seager last night with Randy coming to our house and was lucky to walk away with 1 win.

Wow, actually won 2 against Dale tonight. The one loss was a 1 run game where we left 12 on base, but hey, we'll take the two wins!

Over halfway in and you'd expect some numbers to start normalizing, but our SPs, granted not *that* expensive, but Civale is 4.11 and Williamson is 3.44 so not scrubs are sitting at the following

3. Williamson, B. (L, E) S5 3-10 5.57
4. Detmers, R. (L, 6R) S5 5-6 5.60
5. Civale, A. (R, E) S5 3-7 7.84

Then there is Mlodzinski who has actually dropped his ERA to 6.56 and whip to 1.51

Everyone has examples like this I suppose, but we need some better performance if we're gonig to make a run at this thing.

At least Betts has come on to a more reasonable level from where he started which is nice to see. We have a couple of guys who are better than expected but not many. Need to pick it up fellas! :)

We've actually won 3 of 4 series (the exception was the sweep by Dale) so maybe there's hope after all!

Speaking of injuries. I have the least number of injury days with 36 so far.

For me that is astonishing

I don't think I have ever had a year with the least injuries. (I tend to use higher injury guys often is a huge reason, I guess.

Hopefully the good luck run with few injuries will continue. :D

Actually I have you, and Dale as the two that will have the fewest injuries. That's not the final answer as I haven't doublechecked everyone's lineup, but that's the way it looks.

Wow, we lost Diekman for 15. Not sure I've ever seen an RP lost for 15. Ugh. That will hurt.

That’s what you get for taunting HAL with your injury comments! Lol

Back to “luck” factors— I’m now at an even -200 for opposite rolls pitcher/hitter (-126 pitchers / -74 hitters)
My team is hanging in there with Jeep though— maybe my team sucks and it’s lucky I’m not getting my own card rolls? Hmmmm- likely!
