Guys,
We probably need to (at some point) place a time limit on how long you can take to make missed picks after the last pick in a draft is made.
Here are my thoughts:
Free Agent Draft - must pick within 48 hours of the final pick. To have much more time can allow an unfair advantage in the sense that you may have more information than those who picked within the time frame of the official draft (e.g. A player is injured after the draft but before you pick).
Prospect Drafts - 48 hours ok? Same applies really. In the spring it could be that you wait and learn of an injury, a demotion, a promotion, etc... In the summer you add to that being able to see a few more games of stats. Unfair advantage to me (albeit a small one usually).
SUPP Draft - 48 hours again? Again, delaying picking affords an owner time to gather more information than those who pick in a timely fashion. Injuries, trades, stats, etc...
Is this something guys could be ok with? Have any good arguments against?
Let's discuss a bit:)
