Cano seemed like a fairly easy call at #1. Despite his putrid start I'd probably still sign him up. Would anyone else take cano first?

Like Pedroia, I wouldn't take Cano at all in an $80 mil cap. I may be in the minority with that though...

I agree with you on Petey and Zobrist. My gut was that Cano provided enough thump and obp to separate himself from the others. Loving my turn picks of Nava and Davis, not much else.

Cano was # 1 on my list. I thought I could get him with the # 3 pick, but Smokey snapped him up, so I took Votto instead. Fortunately, Votto's had a decent start.

My bullpen can be in lots of trouble tonight against GB. With Doubront out injured and no other starter with enough rest HAL will pick a reliever to start. They aren't meant to go long...could be a long series.

I agree he is light years ahead of those other 2, but in an 80 mil league if I'm gonna spend that much on somebody I'd like him to be a bargain. I believe Cano is priced right. That's just my style of drafting, certainly not a bad #1 pick by any means.

I would have certainly considered Cano very strongly had he fallen to me.

Well, we got our shot at Kershaw tonight and his "luck" continued.

First two runs, both on our cards: single by Ryan, HR by McCutchen

Next run 1-9 bphr by S Rod on his card

bottom 8: McCutchen, Freeman and Konerko all on their cards for two runs, then Francis comes in and gives up another 1-9 HR (not bphr this time) to S Rod.

Wow, that is a tough outing. Only 13 of 34 rolls on his card (38%)

Geez, Stoney smacked me around last night like an agitator in a washing machine. Which makes me agitated.

In 7 starts he has given up 6 or 7 ER's in 4 of them. Strat hates him! :o My team stinks but still only 2 games out of the wildcard. I have yet to set anything on the team and HAL is running it. Thinking about taking over but HAL has been great for me in 2 other teams I have. See what happens tonight if I keep going downhill will have to take over.
The msaegse is waht mttares msot!
