For example, in season 8 i dont pick a GA pick but trade to the Yankees for Joe Dimaggio. They get two GA players - their own GA pick + my GA pick, they retain their first round draft pick, I get Dimaggio and retain my first round draft pick, but get no GA pick that year. OR the Yankees trade me their first round pick for my GA slot. I then have two first round picks and they have two GA selections

Let me try again. I do understand the above. I am asking about a different case. Let’s say it is season 18 ALL my GA choices stink. A viable case with the 1970s SF Giants. But I can trade my “rights to make a GA pick” to another franchise, say the Yankees who could trade me active players on their roster - Oscar Gamble (better than any Giants selection and as a result a net benefit to me) and therefore they can select both Munson and Guidry with their 2 GA choices. I would expect that they can ONLY choose from their franchise. We would both retain draft picks in that year.

Sorry man, I think you are stuck with a crummy GA. Every franchise has this happen to them at some point.

Yeah. My understanding is that you can’t trade the GA selection.
