The other Pick that Killed me was when Steve took Xander...I was going to taken him on the way back down and I thought I could wait since he already had Correa...ugh! Knife to the heart!

My plan going in was to try to take the best available player and not worry too much about needs.
I thought I could wait on 2b awhile in this draft, but players I had targeted as "values" (Beaz, Villar, Hernandez) kept dropping off just as I was considering them.

Knowing I have the first pick in the prospect allowed me to punt 1B, as I know who my long term 1bman is going to be

reading over the rules, it says prospects can only be on your prospect roster for 2 years. Are we sticking with this? It definitely makes a difference in who is selected. guys that are still 2 years out are big gambles. just making sure before we start that draft.

You can still promote them to your 40 man roster after 2 years

I sort of ended up punting SS because I thought you would most likely take a different prospect and I could get an SS that way. But maybe now I need to rethink!

I figured you might want YM. Either way it works for me!

Does YM qualify as a prospect? I think he was a Sept call up.
