I am not putting another player up. There is no need to have 8 players up for bid with only 7 teams bidding, it's excessive. It's not like I'm sitting on my ass doing nothing, I'm actively bidding on 3 guys, needing 4, with limited dollars. The 7 owners left bidding should be afforded the same courtesy that you finished owners had for chrissake. And I don't take orders from team nasty, he's done bidding.

We have done this in past FA signing periods, so this is not new. Excluding the current players under bid we have only 17 slots left to fill. You do not have to offer a player if you are currently bidding on your 40th roster spot. You are currently bidding on your 37th and 38th roster spots. I'm not sure how bidding on the next player is a disadvantage. In fact, being able to make the first bid on a player has its advantages. If you are pressed for time for researching your next player, that is a different issue and you are under no pressure to make that offer immediately.

Sorry, bidding on 8 players this late in the signing period is unprecedented. On February 21, 2024 there were 4 players being bid on. On February 17, 2023 there were 6 players being bid on. I looked it up.

I am pressed for time researching my next player.
