You can take my place we blew another lead and lost another one run game in extra innings. I hate this game. We are f-ing 4-10 in extras. Brutal. I know we aren't a .700 team that we were early in the season, but we're not a .500 team either. Things just aren't breaking for us presently.

JP Howell is a stud. Tossed 3 innings in relief, woke up the next day tossing another 7 innings as a starter.

HAL didn't fatigue him despite the back to back outings.

We never did get those sim results as you said we might.

I have 2 key injuries tonight going into a big showdown with the phanatics. The pitching matchups aren't in my favor either. Could be a tough night.

No clue. We haven't had a ton of injuries, in fact, we had a ton early when we were playing .700 ball. Go figure.

Bad luck I think. I mean, we're now 4-11 in extras and -4 in one runners (another of both tonight) in which we were good at at the beginning. This game can be very frustrating. We're 7 out of a playoff spot with 40 to play and we've not been able to beat spider for beans. I'm not optimistic. You just can't suck this hard for this long in the NLD and make the playoffs. We're going to have to play well the rest of the way. Who knows, this team is either a .700 team or a .200 team. <shrug> Spider it +4 in one run games. There's the gap right there.

It's time for another 15 game injury for Salty.
