If I understand the concern, it's difficult to match up on trades due to roster constraints. At the outset, I'm not sure I agree. Plenty of trades in 24 team keeper leagues with similar roster sizes. We have five other slots to field a team. Trading a reliever / starter / catcher may precipitate getting one back, but seems doable.

Maybe I'm not understanding him right but Mike seems to be saying that he if he trades a player for a draft pick he will also need a carded player in return due to roster rule. Not true, he can go below 30. Apologies Mike if that's not what you are saying or if you were talking about going below the required number of starters, relievers or catchers as Rant suggests.
