Congrats to all on another fine season.
Notwithstanding climbing the learning curve on the drafting system, we had more banter this season than prior version. I sense we surpassed the number of posts by a healthy margin.
Frankly, I had concerns about the new blocking the plate rule impacting my team's success Yet, we seemed to weather the storm after making several in-season moves that got us out of the heavy shitz. I look forward to showing up at the playoffs against a 100 game winner.
Again, my family's prayers go out to Joe on the loss of his mother during the season's pennant race.

I'm available at anytime since my international travel role is long over. Now that we live in Naples Florida - I'm a bit slow to raise my hand for those flight tickets
Semper Gumby wrote:What is the luck factor based upon?
Mostly on the items in the table above.
1/2 point for single different except for Semper who had a 12% advantage. 1,2,3 points for HR difference depending on the gap. one run games Different in Pythag to actual 1,2 points for difference in rolling on your card percentage of unearned runs to errors Injury differential
So after 162 tough games my team decided to roll over in the playoffs. Despite having more hits in the series I lose 3 one run games and a two run game, losing my CF for the series in game 1.
Did anyone mention this game can be frustrating?
Congrats to Spider on moving on to the next round.

Had about every break fall my way in the series against Corky. Six double-plays, three OF assists and the hitting load carried by Wallace, Perez, Escobar and Kipnis (taking up for disappearance of Molina and Votto). No surprise that my relief pitching carried the day - that was true all season long. Wil Myers managed to strike out 14 times in 19 plate appearances.
