Just so everyone knows, I am leaving for holidays on Thursday and won't be back until the following Saturday and doubt I'll be checking in at all here. I don't want anyone worrying about me .

I just read that Cory Luebke is about to have his second Tommy John surgery. The first one didn't take. He'll miss all of 2014, after missing all of 2013.

I would like to trade him for a prospect, FA pick, prospect draft pick, or a passable SP who can play in 2013, preferably youngish, with even a modest amount of potential.

I'd like to wait for Luebke, but I think I have to have something a tiny bit more concrete. I have too many SP prospects, so a hitter prospect, or an SP who can ply in 2013, or a FA pick, would be great.

Personally, I am a sadist. I would prefer to watch you suffer than to have to endure that suffering for myself.

^^^ yeah, we've seen so many pitchers bounce back from tommy john surgery, that we start to think that it's almost automatic. Obviously it isn't (as is the case with anything medical). Must be really tough for Luebke.
