Corky,

Yeah, you have some good points and, for sure, Stoney has to be frustrated. Win 100 games and lose in the first round. Ouch.

Meanwhile in real-life, the Giants seemed bound and determined to duplicate the Banks-ers feat of going 4-17. They are currently on a 4-15 stretch. I'm not happy. They just SUCK right now.

First off, Congrats to Semper on his first NLD Ring. A sweep. Wow.

Jeep and JTJ underperformed the most. Jeep had a lot of bad luck. JTJ had to pathetic stretches. Smokey was also somewhat under. No one was significantly over.

If you just sub in JTJ for Corky, the ratings were pretty darn close. +11 in one run games will always create a difference between rating and record. May not be luck Corky, but it's pretty reliable in detecting a difference in Rating to record.

JTJ and Semper were the farthest off. Both underperforming. I know this is what killed me. Just had too many platoon guys who just didn't perform adequately. No one was way over.

Big A was well under, and Smokey somewhat. Again no one was way over. Big A had great fielding which doesn't always translate. There is definitely luck involved in the X Chart.

I didn't run fielding during the season, but here it is. Everyone was relatively close.

Anyway, those were the numbers at the end of the season. FWIW.

Just like 25 years ago (more like 20 real years ago), the Cleveland Indians brought something home that the Cleveland fans could cheer about.

My hats off to Spider for almost pulling off the Rookie to Champ manuever ala GBrooke.

And, Stoney & Corky -- a season well played!

Congrats Semper! Great job this season! As Spider said the competition is great in here and you are the well deserved champion!

Spider great to hear you're coming back. Was great having you, and your obviously a top player which makes this league even tougher!

Thanks for the numbers Joe. Sorry I give you a hard time at times, but I figured you'd rather that then me not comment at all. ;)

Corky,

I love the comments. That helps make me a better player and better ratings. Keep 'em coming. I don't take any of this personally.

Ok guys, we need to fill Chase's spot. I checked with Big M, but he's too busy to come back. Do you guys know of a good manager, who is active on the forums, that would be interested in a Live Draft?

I assume we will use the same draft site as AFAIK, SOM's site is still rapid fire Right?

If we want to get the draft completed in one shot, the SOM site is the ticket.

The other two options

(1) we have our last draft site engine which most members are familiar with now.

(2) we draft using the league forum site - slow but reliable
