ironwill1,

You're up in the 5 season keeper league draft.

My pick in this draft is coming.

It is getting so hard to find players for me. First team got all batters this team going mostly pitchers. 5 pitchers and 3 batters. Can't find any good batters anymore but I like my pitching! :D

My first 4 picks:

Pitchers
Kershaw SP*
Price SP*
Lohse SP*
Cueto SP*

It had better pay off. Got Phillips and Aybar up the middle.....but then a bunch of boring run-of-the-mill hitters.
Can't wait until the new cards come out!! Oh wait......that is a looonnng time from now!

Terry did some deep digging to find Kearns' split. With only 59 PA's vs. RHP I hope he turns out better than my Blake Dewitt pick last year. I saw his 1.097 OPS vs LHP (why I was drafting a DH vs. LHP in this league is another matter) and picked him up. The problem was he only had 35 PA's vs. LHP and he turned out 24/35/33. Oops. Historical performance must have gotten the better of his card.

I looked at Kearns hard but went with Laird and his .382BA and I think .420OBP against RHP instead. Don't think his arm will be all that good but my SP should have out of this world hold if they are anything like last year. I went all pitching and OBP as I will take Verlander, Medlen, Sale and Zimmermann into Petco and hope I can steal and bunt my way into a 2-1 win. Kimbrel and Cook will finish off all those other games I lose 24-1.

Why in the hell did I pick Victorino and what position does ne play in this set anyway. I thought he played CF?

I guess my teams ended up alright. Keeper 1 team has much better defense and pitching. Keeper 2 team, is sadly just a lot worse for me, lol.

Keeper 1 Def
Posey, B C-2, 1B-3
Gonzalez, C LF-1
Jones, A CF-1
LaRoche, A 1B-1
Reimold, N LF-3
Tulowitzki, T SS-2
Colvin, T RF-2, CF-3, LF-2
Sandoval, P 3B-3, 1B-4

Keeper 2 Def
Braun, R LF-3
Encarnacion, E 1B-3, 3B-4
Ruiz, C C-1
Murphy, D LF-3, RF-3
Kozma, P 2B-4, SS-3
Rollins, J SS-1
Freese, D 3B-4
Kipnis, J 2B-3

btw Vis, I know you can't live draft a player, but can you own (i.e. in the autodraft or waiver part) a player you live drafted on the other team?
