The 10 drafts for position players, SPs, and RPs will be run simultaneously. Unleashed cards and those for players with a fielding range of 5 will be included in the wild card draft and there will be no clock in that draft until after the remaining eligible players are transferred in (when the initial 10 drafts are completed). The clock for the stadium draft will begin after all of the other drafts are completed.
wild card draft has started, what am i missing?
All drafting slots can be active at the same time...
Only for the stadium, it's maybe better to wait and see which players we finish with...
I just saw what you meant in the rules. I guess it was from last year. Back then, we didn't included the range 5 players from the beginning... But this year, It's different.

I think it was done to make the wild card round a little more robust as without the 5's there were only 4 or so players of major league caliber. adding ortiz, carp, etc boosted it a bit....

Wild card draft starts right away but then goes on hold after the first few worthwhile players are drafted. When the other 10 player drafts are completed, then the remaining players are transferred to the wild card draft and we fill in the spare parts needed for our minor league teams.
Question, have we discussed what the cap limits on players in the minors and instructional league are going to be...
I am up in the 1b draft (amongst others) and I don't need a 3rd, firstbaseman, over 5 million, if I cant use him somewhere. Maybe this is why we shoulda waited for the Wild Card draft.
Majors: None Minors: No more than 3 players over $3.5 mil, with a cap of $4.5 mil for any individual player Instructional: No more than 3 players over $1.75 mil, with a cap of $2.25 mil for any individual player
