I pinged him on FB. Usually takes him a bit to get started. I would expect he won't pick until this evening.

Had a lot of good choices to choose from. Decided on Cano after consulting with Wineman.

MG, you get to make your first NLD pick! I'm sure you're soooooo excited. :P

Joe

I'm surprised by the Cano selection.

Will share the deciding factor for taking him ;)

Granted Cano is the top rated 2b on the board yet I had you grabbing someone in the $9m+ salary range.

The tell tale will be your 2nd round selection which signals whether I can relax on grabbing Player X or Player Y ahead of my draft rankings. The last draft saw several weaker side platoon pieces coming off the board early. You don't want to miss out on Player X or Player Y. :D

Clearly there are better overall players out there. I went with a very good player at a weak position. We'll see if I rue that decision. It is quite possible I will.

No doubts about Cano being a valuable player even side stepping the shallow 2b player pool factor.

I had you spending more early knowing that second round pick leaves you looking for the gems.

Sorry for the hold up. I checked in early yesterday, didn't see movement, and forgot to check back.

And totally hyped for getting trout, just hafta scrimp and save in the middle rounds now...

Now that Trout is off the board, I had Joe grabbing Trout and then stealing several platoon pieces along the early to middle rounds.
