I am so sorry for the questions. But, I’m on some new pain meds and am not sleeping well. So things have been a little bit blurry lately.

Two questions just to clarify things for me.

One - the initial first draft after the franchise picks will be serpentine?

Two - each new season we will be maintaining four franchise players? So, if I had chosen Betts, Freeman, Pepiot, and May instead of Smith, I would be able to keep Betts and Freeman. But, I would need to find two other franchise players?

Also, since I control TB and LAD, would I be able to just exchange Pepiot for Glasnow at the beginning of the next season?

One - yes serpentine for the initial draft.
Two - The way the rules are now there is no requirement for maintaining franchise players or having to have any number of them. You will have 28 players on your team after this initial draft. None of them will be designated "franchise" players. Before next year's draft you will decide which of those players you want to keep. You can keep or drop as many as you want. The only other thing is since we are playing AL only and NL only, any player that you want to keep that switched leagues ( Pepiot and Glasnow in your case) will have to switch teams for you. Pepiot goes to your AL team Glasnow to your NL team. It's just a coincidence that in your case Pepiot went to Tampa and Glasnow to LA, the 2 teams you control. As far as Dustin May goes, if you have a player that doesn't get carded next year you can keep him on your team if you want.

Terry is there any way we can settle the franchise player thing? For one of my teams I'll be drafting with 2024 in mind and it would be nice to know if I have to have some amount of franchise players on it. Maybe call for a proposal from the managers that are asking for it?
