Divisions - determined by randomizer
I have created 36 team groupings comprised mostly of players who actually played for a "base" real team, and added a number of "supplemental" players who played for the franchise in different years, but help fill needed gaps to make the team competitive at the $110 MIL level. For example, one of the teams is the 1978 Yankees. There are 28 cards in the set of players who had at least 1 AB, or 1 IP for the Yankees in 1978. Your team grouping would include all 28 of those players, plus 6 supplemental players: Dave Winfield, Bobby Murcer, Don Mattingly, Tony Fernandez, Dave Righetti and Tommy John.

You have exclusive rights to the players from your assigned team grouping, and can use any version of a player you have in your team grouping, so the Yankees 78, may choose to use the $10.13M 1969, OAK version of Reggie Jackson. At NO TIME Can you use a player that is not from your selected team grouping. There are no trades. You are challenged to make the best $110mil team you can out of the available players.
You can do add/drops from your team grouping once the season commences. Most of the team groupings have about 35 - 40 players to pick from to fill a $110 MIL roster. You will probably want to use the lower priced version of your bench players to keep your money with your starters.
Each player is assigned to a unique team grouping so there is no possibility of a player being eligible for 2 teams.
League Schedule:
On the threads below I will show the randomizer results that will determine the divisions and team schedule for all 3 seasons. I will also post separate Randomizer results that will determine the team draft order for season 1. The team draft order for seasons 2 and 3 will be based on team record (worst record, gets 1st pick; ties are broken by net run differential). Season 4 will be comprised of the 12 playoff teams from seasons 1,2 and 3. Team selection order TBD.
