1921-1946 Franchise League
17 seasons, 90m, NO DH, FULL SET
THIS IS A 17 SEASON COMMITMENT. Managers rotate through the 17 teams; 5 teams per season will rotate out
Draft players carded to your franchise from the PRE rosters (not db or post). However, for competitive balance and to place SOME players carded to multiple teams, the AutoDraft follows ASSIGNED and DO NOT DRAFT players listed below with each roster.
You ARE NOT REQUIRED to draft your ASSIGNED players, they are simply yours exclusively UNTIL the Auto-draft runs. You MAY PLACE ELIGIBLE players from “rotated out teams” on your Autodraft Card, just realize that others may be after them as well, so place them higher on your draft card. For example, for the 5 seasons when the Cardinals are rotated out, Rogers Hornsby could be grabbed as a Free Agent by the Cubs, Braves, Browns, and Giants. Whew!
After the Auto-draft, ANY Free Agents who played for your franchise FROM 1921-1946 are eligible to be added to your team.
To keep things simple, 1921-1946 are the ONLY years that EXIST for this league. You may only use Free agents who played for your team FROM 1921-1946.
Each franchise has at least 3 stadium options, listed below with the franchises.
SPECIAL NOTES: The Yankees are divided into TWO teams: the 1921-1934 Yankees (MURDERER’S ROW) and the 1935-1946 Yankees (BRONX BOMBERS). AFTER the Auto-draft, ANY Yankees from 1921-1946 are fair game for either Yankees team. And, there may be one or five lucky managers who find one Yankee team rotated out in a particular season. If only one Yankee team is participating in a particular season, that manager can Autodraft ANY Yankee who played for NYY from 1921-1946.
NOT ALL PLAYERS WHO ARE CARDED TO MORE THAN ONE TEAM HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED TO A FRANCHISE.
Some Players have been designated for the manager to use ANY card to represent that player. With Pete Alexander, for example, any card may be used, even his pre-1921 cards.
